As a speech therapist, I am always on the lookout for toys that are budget-friendly. Whether it be for the one or two things I bring into homes or recommendations for families, my wheels are always turning! Here are a few on Amazon that I have found that have been on sale!

Wooden Puzzles for Toddlers, 8 Pcs Animal Matching Egg Puzzle, Montessori Toys for Boy Girl Easter Birthday Gifts, Preschool Learning Activities & Educational Toys for Boys, Girls
This is a great early puzzle. The cause-and-effect of which animal is underneath can help with motivation as well as targeting 1-step commands and animal sounds! Loads to embed here!
Toddler Toys - Color Matching Egg Set - Educational Color, Shapes and Sorting Recognition Skills - Puzzle for Kid Baby Boy Girl, Easter Basket Gift (6 Eggs)
Great for shapes and color identification. This also supports early fine motor skills (shout out to my fellow occupational therapists) and language goals.
Spike the Fine Motor Hedgehog
Again, great for fine motor skills and language skills! You can have children choose between two colors or put them in the order you’d like them to.

I love flap books! They are great for targeting “open” and increasing motivation in young readers.
