WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BONE BROTH

Bone Broth has been my current obsession.

I can’t shut up about bone broth. Let me start by saying this was an acquired taste. I am by no means a soup person. I started with a half a cup, and worked my way up to a full cup. And do you know what kept me going? Bone broth’s benefits.

The Benefits of Bone Broth

Hair, Skin, Nails, and Joints!

Bone broth supports collagen, which helps with hair, skin, and nails… all of which are involved with connective tissues! As someone who has a history of connective tissue disease… it is no wonder why I gravitated towards this. Connective tissues are also found in your joints.

Supports Digestive Health and GI Systems

Collagen and gelatin found in bone broth help improve digestive health and combat leaky gut (e.g., a proposed digestive condition where the intestinal lining allows bacteria and toxins into the bloodstream).

Cellular Health & Immune System Function

The drink encourages cell growth and rejuvenation. It reduces inflammation that impaires the health of cellular health. There are electrolytes and minerals also found in the broth. This will help further with immune system function and detoxification.

My Recipe

I have been stressed trying to find this. I finally pulled the trig and grabbed it from Amazon.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of bone broth (chicken preferred, but beef works, too)

  • 1 lime squeezed

  • 1/2-1 tsp of turmeric (your preference!)

  • a crank of black pepper

I start by heating a cup of bone broth in the microwave for 50-60 seconds. I think cut and squeeze a lime in the drink. Following that, I add turmeric and black pepper for taste.

I drink a cup a day every morning on an empty stomach. Again, I never liked soup until I started drinking this!

I encourage you to try this. I firmly believe that mental and physical health go hand-in-hand. Consistent use of the product will help you feel your best, inside and out!
